 Asia Pacific Investment Company 2 (APIC 2) was incorporated in October 2002 as a real estate core plus fund and is advised from Singapore by Lend Lease Investment Management. APIC 2 is a retail focused, closed-ended, unlisted wholesale property fund. The minimum investment in APIC 2 is S$10 million.
APIC 2 is a follow-on vehicle to APIC which was established in 1995 as a real estate opportunistic fund. APIC was restructured and was recently wound-up. Following the restructure of APIC, APIC 2 acquired the core retail properties of APIC providing investors with an opportunity to invest in Asian real estate, predominantly in the Singapore retail market.
As at 31 April 2008, APIC 2 had gross assets of approximately S$1 billion (A$800 million).
